This is a hospital-based Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) settingâ?? This position is in a hospital environment that is focused on medical stabilization and rehabilitation of patients with complex conditions, chronic illness, or catastrophic injury.  It offers a faster-pace and varied work setting.  As a LTACH RN, you will strengthen critical-thinking and assessment skills, and support rehabilitation while developing meaningful relationships with patients and their families in a collaborative hospital setting.
 


RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Oversees direct patient care through assessment, intervention and administration of care
  • Compile, compare and record patient care information
  • Delivers direct patient care or appropriate delegates to other team members
  • Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
  • Collaborates with clinical services team
  • Communicates effectively with physicians, families and patient

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Active RN license in state of Nebraska
  • CPR certification
  • One year clinical experience preferred
