Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Schedule:

• Mainly night shifts, including holidays/weekends

  • Weeknights: 5 PM 8 AM (15-hour shift)

  • Weekend nights: 3 PM 8 AM (17-hour shift)

• Minimum 4 6 shifts/month

Procedures/Case Mix:

• Surgical recovery, critical newborn care

• Chest tube insertion/removal, lumbar puncture, central lines, umbilical catheterizations, etc.
  

• No transport responsibilities

Additional Details:

• EMR: Epic

• Credentialing: days

• Orientation: 3 days (Mon Wed) after privileges granted
  
• Level IV, 58-bed NICU

Requirements:

• • Active CA license

  • 2 3 years of Level IV NICU experience

  • Certs required: BLS, NRP, PALS
